Had it since August 1969 my 15th b'day. Drove it only couple of times without a license. Been garaged almost 46 yrs. Hadn't had the cover off in 35 yrs. (Me or the kids will fix it someday)🤞

Hmmm......"someday" finally came:congrats:. That is a cool story. Uncovering it you must have experienced a lot of emotions . Sort of like finding an old picture you have not seen in all those years. That car must have been on the back of your mind throughout the years . These cars certainly become a part of , like a signature. Not sure of your plans but I think I would just get er running .... not touch the years of being as is and being able to tell the story each time you go for a cruise.:tu
I waited too many years to start the restoration. I purchased mine in 1965 but didn't start the restoration in earnest until 2011. I started with clutch head screwdrivers and some cleaning solution, then the fun started.
Will be looking for updates.
