Take them to a machine shop and have them made into unilug. Either put a new set of holes in under the windows or right at the [email protected]%# bolt pattern. I made mine out of old VW slots with 4 lugs. Welded up the holes and drilled new ones (at a machine shop of course).

Its really easy for a machine shop to unilug the old wheels.
and I think it's much safer than any wheel adapter, the skinny wheels cary lots of weight, and I've run them on every single car I've ever had since I was 17.

I totally dig the Ansen 15x3 slots, but I don't know that I'd run wheel spacers. Nearly all of them are 3/4" - 1 1/4" thick and will make the front tires stick out past the fenders. If that'swhat you want, you can look to a company called Trans Dapt. They have a number of spacers. Check out www.tdperformance.com. Their part #3610 would do what you want, but again the tires will hang out. As the others have mentioned, you might consider redrilling the wheels to the Ford pattern. Good luck!

i actually want to bring the wheels out closer to the outter wheel well giving the car the look of a straight axle but not using one..if i can get a adapter of 1 to 2 ichs thick it will bring the wheels out more which will give me the look i want with out sacraficing the ride quality but ive gotten mixed reveiws on the adapter ( there not safe ) or they look stupid i think it would work in theory of course still trying to get a visual..

I bought a set of adapters to make a dually out of my 96 3/4 truck. The only requirement is to replace the original wheel studs for stock new studs. Granted the center line of the tire is still over the original CL but for the amount of miles we put on our cars I don't see adding an adapter being a danger, just keep an eye on the wheel bearings, good day.

The Billet Wheel adapters are safe. We Run them on a 4x4 that sees a lot of hard off road bouncing and jumping and have never had a single problem with them. Have broken every part (it seems) on the truck except for the adapters..LOL

Why not have the spindle redrilled for the Ford bolt pattern? I was running the same wheels as you (Ansen w/Ford bolt pattern) on the front of my car. When I had the stock drums on the front I redrilled the drum and spindle to the 5x5 bolt pattern and never had any problems.

When I converted the car to disc front brakes I had Baer brakes drill the rotor hat both 5x4 3/4 and 5x5 so I had options on the front if I wanted it.

Just a thought. I don't much care for spacers, exspecially on the front.

Yep they will help ruin your front wheel bearings and can cause other problems...especially if they are very wide...to much strain

are you still using the stock front brakes, hub, and ball bearing wheel bearings?
if so, the spacer will help kill the ball bearings. and will do so at the worst time !!

im using the front drums and brake set up yes ..as far as wheel bearings go i swapped out the crappy roller skate bearings for sealed bearing and hubs from a 63 impala ...i used
sealed inner and outter bearings the spindle race and hub so now when i wanna swap brake shoes all i have to do is pull of the drum not the entire hub..plus they roll better and the shake i had is now gone i guess i had bad oem bearings ....
