Kwik bracket users, which PS reservoir?

ok, I have one last gremlin to fix. The PS lines leak and I don't know why. I have a remote reservoir with a barbed fitting coming out of it and 5/8 hose. The hose clamp is on tight with a hose clamp. The line going to the pump is the same with another barbed fitting and it's on tight with another hose clamp. Almost feels like the hose is sweating fluid. Do you need a special 5/8 hose for PS fluid? I wouldn't think so.

Otherwise the car is running great and is very reliable. I just don't like the puddle of fluid under the car when I park it. Oddly enough though, the PS level in the reservoir is fine so it seems like a slow leak but the hose is almost saturated. I've checked everything else, the bottom of the engine and tranny are dry as a bone. Bottom of the M/C is dry as a bone. This is the only leak I can find.

Thanks,
Jeff

Yes, you do need a special hose for power steering. heater type hose will desolve and weep in short time .:eek::eek::party0031:

A hose with clamps is okay for the return line.....However, there is just way too much pressure on the other line for that type set-up
sorry, I should have said it is only the return line that is leaking. What kind of hose should I ask for that works with PS fluid?
Go to Napa and ask for 5/8" power steering return hose...
Thank ya. Spent the day working on the a/c install so I'll try and work on the leak next weekend.
Jemo,
Can you post a pic of your PS Reservior setup? I am having the same dilema with where and what to use for a reservior. I have a custom made bracket, with the alternator mounted high, and the PS Pump low, and I"m trying to find a square or rectangular shaped reservior that would fit "in the gap between them". See the pic below...

Sorry Wagon Man. I don't have a good pic but mine is just a round PS reservoir I found on ebay. I think it's meant or race cars. I built a bracket for it and mounted it on the drivers inner fender. You can sorta see it here in the upper right:
