Hey Guys
Anyone in Las Vegas that can tell me if there are any car shows or show and shines between May 31 and June 10th as my wife and I are going there for a holiday. Also if anyone wants to meet up for lunch or coffee, let me know.

Thanks
Doug

If you will click on the "members" link in the tool bar at top, then click on "advanced search" on the right of the page you can enter the location you are looking for members in and it will show you who is in that area.

vegas (happenings)

Hey ,Ill raise my hand ! Got a couple '56s and I've lived in Vegas almost forever. Our show season is almost over due to summer heat however there should be some coffee and cars get togethers on the weekends and usually on Wed.nites. I'll check with my pal RC ,AKA the Vegas Lugnut , he keeps track of events and has been known to take a picture or two.So Cal. Speed s a good place to visit as a couple car collections.More later---!

FYI - Go eat at Ellis Island. You won't be sorry. A small casino on Koval St. a block off the strip behind Bally's. Ask for their steak special. It is not printed in the menu, but on the cover. You have to ask for it. You get a beer from their micro brewery with it. Great steak for a great price. Like $6 for a steak meal. We ate every meal there last time in Vegas and every steak wife and I had was great! Lot of locals eat there so you know it is good.

Keep me posted or IM me and perhaps we can meet up if you have some free time. We are staying at the MGM Towers.

If Heart Attack Grill is still on Fremont Street you need to go there and get a milkshake, they make them as good as the original shakes of the 50's and 60's, use extra rich everything:tu The burgers are alright, the fry's are good, but the shakes and the theme dressed staff are the best:congrats:

As Fuzz says Ellis Island , The best deals can be had at the off strip properties , small casinos . Locals love them . Longhorn n Boulder Hwy. Steak and Lobster for 10 bucks ,granted it isn't large but not bad for the price. The 'O Aces on Decatur Ave. , one of "The Geezer Gang " breakfast club and tellers of tall tales (BS) favorites. Skyline in Henderson on the way to Boulder Dam .
