Lend a hand! Minnesota!

Hi I have been a member of this site for a few years now and I just wanted to say I live in the Northwest Suburbs of the Twin Cities - Brooklyn Center. The next time you need a hand on your project - I could be there to help you.

I hope that would be the same for you, I probably wont travel across the state probably 10-25 miles away, sorry I do have limits.

If that helps anyone let me know - I just wanted to give a shout out.

Best wishes,

Dan

Fantastic offer Hoss.......thats really great. Wish you lived in Chattanooga.
I was thinking IL.
Thanks! I like helping people and if I can lend a hand to help someone with our hobby that is someone I helped. Pay it forward I guess.

Dan
way to go dan. :five:
Dan that is a great offer. Don (finallyhavea57) and I met thru this site and have helped each other out from time to time. It is great to have someone to help with those jobs that need two people.
Jim
Very nice of you Dan. Wish I wasn't out of your range. But, most of what I do, I do myself anyway. Reassembling my doors, hood and stuff like that after paint is where I ask for help.
Dan, I grew up in Mpls and now live in South Florida -- if you're ever down here, I'll take you up on your offer!!!

I sure could use some help.

Mike
Thanks everyone!

Hey TS, I see that you are about 120 miles away? It would be a day trip with my family if I were to venture that far, but I think it would be possible on a weekend. I gotta check with the boss first also. Let me know your thoughts.

Dan
Thanks Dan. If I get the body painted soon, I'll need help assembling. I'll let ya know how it goes.
Lend a helping hand!

Hello Dan and family, That is a very kind offer and one that I could have taken advantage of on a couple of occasions. I have been making the annual pilgrimmage to the Back to the Fifties Show for over 20 years from Winnipeg to Minneapolis (5oo miles -1 way ) with an ever changing inventory of "classic cars" and have experienced my fair share of whoes in doing so! It would have been nice to have a friend in Brooklyn Center as that is where we have stayed ( Super 8 ) all these years. The stories I could tell:) I still say that the BTTF show is the best in the country!!
The Minnesota State Fairgrounds is the PERFECT place for a car show and we have always found the folks very friendly..(except for that one time we missed the off ramp and ended up down town in a strange neighborhood...)
Thanks for the offer and maybe we can hook up at the BTTF,s for a cool one........... John:wavey:
How does Maple Grove sound. Adopted a 57 210 4 door last fall and I am planning to start working on it this winter. I've been working out of state all year and my son has been working on it. Don't know exactly how much he's done but new floors were ordered and may be in. Would love to hook up when I get back to town cause I am gonna need a lot of advice. Rick

Ditto X 2 ..... :tu :tu
Thanks for the replies everyone! If you are indeed in need of a hand with something on your TRI-FIVE CAR or TRUCK and you are within a reasonable distance weather permitting - :D Just send me an email through TRi-Five to make sure I got your message. Thanks!!!
The guys I know used to get together and work on each others cars, go to swapmeets etc. but it kind of died off. My son in law is finally seeing that he can learn alot just by hanging out with the old man, and my son Ty is getting better too. I'm thankful they're turning off the dang Playstation and trying to learn and do things. We have a huge network of folks here, and I've seen some of the guys helping each other and that my friends is what Hotrodding is all about. :tu
Hi! That sounds like a plan! Next year we should have one or the other at back to the fifities! Yes we are just a block or so away from the motel also. We are starting some major renovations to or utility sedan, we hope to be done by car show cruisin season.

Dan

Thanks!

Dan, I hope you have a big yard so that when we start descending on you for BTTF, you can handle all of us. :wavey:

Seriously though, great offer. Without help, most of us would never finish our cars. We have a group of guys around here that get together most Saturday mornings at one place or another to help each other. Works great.
