Any special precautions needed for removing the end bolts in CCP 55-57 a-arms. I have taken .090 off the mounts for my Unisteer R&P but the end bolts in the a-arms still are touching the Boots on the R&P. I will try having new washers made for the a-arms. what do you think should be the minimum thickness for these washers and what is the proper torque for replacing the bolts?

What do you want to know about Loctite?

I don't think there's much way of answering the questions you ask without some photos and other information.

No, just remove them with the proper wrench. Red loctite is not permanent or all that tenacious except under special circumstances. I hope the fasteners and shafts aren't both 300 series stainless steel, that would be one of the special circumstances. Both is a key word here.
