I went all over town looking for some black flexible four inch hose for a homemade cold air induction kit and had no luck. All I found was three inch. What size is the hose on 57 Chevy fresh air ducts? If I remember, its pretty big. :confused0006:

Your fresh air system looks good. C386R is the original neoprene fabric and C4255 is rubber. I think the fabric type would look better, less like black dryer hose, but it cost more.

I sure wish tri-five vendor catalogs were as detailed and informative as Clarks Corvair catalog.

If that doesn't work for you go to Corvette centrals web site and check out the heater ducting from the radiator support to the heater box on the C1 Corvettes.

I have an early corvette fuelie ste up the ducting is 4.75 dia.arty0031: try home depot and look for aluminum dryer vent is comes in 3 and 4 inch sizes

4" ducting is what home clothes dryers use, available at any home improvement store. I think the aluminum is all they can sell now. You can paint it black. It is semi flexible, check it out, it's cheap! Dave
