Who has the best warrenty, I recently tried to get two test lights replaced. A 3 year old Mac thsat I stepped on and a 6 year old snap-on that the lead frayed and fell apart in the tool box. I am not a mechanic by trade so neither was used very much. Which one stood behind their product.

Around here the warranty isn't any better than the salesman. The Snap On guy in our area used to warranty anything.

X2, what you get on warranty/replacement is a function of your local guy.

And, the more business you give him, the more he's going to take care of you.

I have a nice NIB Mac test light. Snap-on is a no go even called the home office. My buddy that has helped me build transmissions for 35 years had his Snap-off light do the same thing.

Snap on vs Mac

I agree it depends on how much you spend and have an overall purchase history. Any of them will start treating you better when you continue to buy from them I must say though OUR experience is better to trade/ buy with Sanp on. Mike

Oh this is basic replacement is to what I refer to.
