I think I saw those on Summit’s website. They were just chrome, without the bow ties around the edge. The white bow tie strip you added looks good. Did you use a stencil of some sort?

Labor intensive, masking off the inside and outer ring, primer, color and lacquer thinner. to clean off the Chevy emblems.BTW the caps from Summit are non-magnetic stainless not chrome.

I didnt want to mess with nubs. Although I think I may add them and just remove the "claws" from the part of the trim rings that hit them if I want to go back to the small caps. I did get the Wheel Vintiques center caps. they sell 2. Make sure the description says for 15-17" rally. they have another set for smoothies I think. The trim rings are 1-1/4" off amazon. I think Eagle flight makes them, but they are titled as "hotrod smoothie rings"

I like what you did with wheels. That really is a nice clean look! Now that I’ve seen the rally’s like this with the wide whites, I may do this instead of the full wheel covers. Thanks for the pics. Great looking car!

So WHAT is the answer to this question:
Does anybody produce a reproduction 1955 center cap that will fit a Rally wheel?

A clear response would be great if you know the answer....
NO, apple sand oranges. Caps that look like original 55/56 dog dish caps that fit rally wheels do not fit 55/56 stock wheels. On the flip side original dog dish hubcaps do to fit rally wheels. They come unpainted and you must paint then yourself.

The painted wheels for Bertha are 15" Vision Rally 55's, same as OP. Will those caps fit the Vision wheels if you know? I'm pretty confident those will end up on Bertha if they do. Thanks!

If you’re wanting to go to a center cap instead of a full wheel cover, like I did, then you’ll need a rally type center wheel cap. The aftermarket has a lot of different styles to choose from. Not sure if that answers your question. I wasn’t sure what you meant by “OP”.

The caps I have are designed to sit inside a rally wheel center.. so if your vision rallys accept a standard rally cap, you are good to go!!
