Ok, i'll bite. What advantage is there to moving it forward? To clear an HEI?
Motor mounts / trans mount
Ok, I have read a LOT of archives and can't seem to narrow my search down.
On my 55 what is the best motor mount to install for a small block? I see a lot of vendors have them, but which are best? I think I'd like the weld in versions. I saw a vendor (can't find it now) that had a nice set that incorporated a piece that welded in where the crossmember met the side frame rails. That looked nice, but I can't find it now.
Plan on running a muncie 4 speed. will need a cross member as well.

THANKS guys, the Williams mounts were the ones I was looking at , just couldn't find them again. I hope to have the frame out in a week or so. Need to get the mounts welded in and get started on moving the rear springs as well...I think I'm gonna fab up my own rear shock mounts.
