Ok, I have read a LOT of archives and can't seem to narrow my search down.
On my 55 what is the best motor mount to install for a small block? I see a lot of vendors have them, but which are best? I think I'd like the weld in versions. I saw a vendor (can't find it now) that had a nice set that incorporated a piece that welded in where the crossmember met the side frame rails. That looked nice, but I can't find it now.
Plan on running a muncie 4 speed. will need a cross member as well.
i used (in my 55-327 eng) the small block side motor mount kit from www.classicchevy.com. bolts in with no welding. even left the front ones in. worked out nice for me.
