Here's a pic of my instrument panel for your reference. I like the instruments, but there is no tach. Rather than buy an entire new cluster, I'm looking to mount a tach on the column if possible. You can't see it in the pics but it is one of the aftermarket tilt wheel columns. Am I going to be able to mount one here?

Sorry for the poor quality of the pic, but until the car gets here, this is all I have. Any ideas on what kind/type/size of tach would also be appreciated.

Here's what I did. I used the small Autometer tach and their mounting cup. I then put one rivet nut into the top of the column to secure the cup.
I have an Ididit floor shift tilt column.

Love those gauges, really looks good. As far as the tach goes, I like them on top of the dash and to me bigger is better!

That's a nice looking Tach set-up that roger1 has.:tu

I just use a large clamp for mine on a stock column.

Thanks. I think it's a good option for the gauge panels we have.

Btw, I made an idiot light panel as well.

The brake light is dual purpose. I comes on if the e-brake is set and if the main brakes have a problem detected by the sensor on the proportioning valve.

Great set up Roger.

I have seen monster tachs strapped around the column like Roger has but the larger ones.
