Hey everyone. Just signed up and going to start rebuilding my 57 150. A little history I have had this car since 85, it was my first car in high school and the only one out of many Chevys I have kept over the years. Bought it from a woman who had it stored in her barn, was her dads shine running car.

No shine in the trunk but there were bullet holes in the quarter. They had been patched and I found them when I painted the car 20 years ago. lol

Nice story. Did it have 2 gas tanks? Did it have an oil tank in the bumper? Did it have a rear bumper release? Sounds like Thunder Road to me. LOL Jim
