I've been to shows and cruises in Ohio and Kentucky, but the car has always been "down" for one reason or another or something else has come up and I couldn't make it to any local shows.
I finally made one yesterday.
The Blackwidows of Bluesville charity Car, Truck, Motorcycle and Tractor show.
3rd year and they had over a hundred cars show up.
Nice area on private land. Along a power line and it was kinda hilly, but nice and open.
There was a live band (Nuttun' Fancy) that played Skynyrd, Almond Bros, Ga Satelites covers.
Southern Rock.
:tu

I was there...with my car this time.

Nice trucks.

Cars

Tri-5s

Rat rods

There was a pin striper there.
Thought about getting some work done, but he was busy all day.

It got a little windy at one point.

Had a great time.
I even won a prize in the drawing!
A mundane T shirt from a T shirt company.
But I had a good time.

More in my picture trail.

Been a tough year timing wise; my wife and I both had some medical things to attend to and the timing of the events made it hard to do much outside of our local area hotrodding wise. We did take a couple of out of town trips to visit family, but with the tighter calendars we had to compromise this year. We're both OK, just had to make some choices.

We had hoped to get to Pigeon Forge and just couldn't work it in. We'll see if we can reconnect with some of the Tri-Five gang in 2011.
