I've been wondering just what I had installed in my LS1 when I sent it to the machine shop. I called Comp Cams and talked to a tech there and this is what he sold me. I'd like to know just how aggressive he went with my cam and rockers, etc. This is what I have

Cam

Rockers 1.75 Roller Rockers

Comp Cam's RPM Kit

LS6 intake

Short headers

Still a pretty mild motor??

Thanks

I had a similar Comp Cams 220/220 cam in my LS1 with Stock Z06 heads, long tube exhaust. It put down 401 rwhp at the Vette Doctors dyno. It ran just fine without tuning, they managed to get another 10 hp out of it after 1/2 a day working on it.

Mine was not radical at all! Just a little burble at stock 850 rpm idle. It was very torquey! Not high rpm like they say in the ad, but mine pulled well to 6500 rpm. I could lug out in 6th gear from 1000 rpm smoothly, uphill!

I say do it! Nice size cam to have. Several tuners drove my car, all said it was very peppy for what it was.
