I just purchased my 55 chevy belair about 3 weeks ago in northern michigan. My wife an I have been looking for about 2 1/2 years for a tri five. We made numerous weekend trips and 50 or so web sites in the search. With my wife's buyin has been great we dated in a 55 chevy back in early sixties. Too bad didn't keep a few of my early cars. My 55 is a belair frame off, with a 350 (mild cam and 4b edle), muncie 4 speed, 380 ish rear, flows, and American racing wheels. I will be putting dropped spindles, disk brakes around and 605 ps this winter.
