Have eliminated the rotted out kick panel vents. Replaced the panels they were on, with solid panel panels.
I need the distance the flange, the vent grilles fasten to, back to the original panel.
Going to make a spacer, so the new kick panels will be supported.
NE1 with the panels off, would you plse let me know the dimension.

TIA,

TIA,
I have a 1955 chevy here the flange is 1 in to the back of the panel.
If it any help I can see that these flanges are seperate from the main panels.
Left and right flanges are spot welded these can be removed with no problem
These are already made, nice looking still

I appreciate the offer.
However, the so called body man, has taken the die grinder cutoff and butchered the panels, beyond use.
I've spent the past 6 weeks cleaning up his messes.
1" Core fab will work just perfect! I'm considering locating some shallow, face mt speakers there.
