Heavenly Father, today is the anniversary of 911 I pray to today to ask that you continue to Heal all of the survivors of their pain. Father to those innocent people that lost their lives, may they rest in your everlasting Peace.

We`ve had all the specials played, the lucky escapes, the heroes and the people left behind, bless them all.
Agree 100 %.........I'll never forget.
Amen, Amen, Amen! Truth be told, I almost forget, but was glad to be reminded (on every channel) when I turned on the morning news.
Yesterday some friends and I went to benefit car show up in Cheyenne. Something happened there that I've never experienced at any show before. The official start of the show was 9am, and you know how it is people arrive early to park, clean up their cars, bs with old and new friends, etc. Well promptly at 9, the promoter made an anouncement over the PA for attention, then raised an American flag, then they played the National Anthem and it was followed by a minister with a very short prayer and a call for a "moment of silence" to honor the victims and their families of 9/11...it was a truly moving moment as nearly everyone there stopped what they were doing turned toward the flag with hand or hat over their heart during the anthem then bowed their heads.
FOR MANY WEEKS BEFORE THIS 9-11, THERE WERE POSTS ON THE INTERNET FOR EVERYONE TO FLY THE FLAG ON 9-11. I FLY MINE DAILY AND WAS WONDERING HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD FLY THEIR FLAG ON THAT DAY. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. VERY FEW ADDITIONAL FLAGS. SHORTLY AFTER THE TRAGEDY HAPPENED YOU COULDN'T BUY A FLAG IN OUR AREA--THEY WERE ALL IN THE FRONT YARDS OF OUR NEIGHBORS. THIS IS NOT THE CASE NOW. SO SAD. AS FOR ME I WILL NEVER FORGET!

Yep so very sad the apathy people have now. I always flew a flag on Holidays and special times. On 9/12 I vowed to fly mine, everyday, 24hrs a day, until every last sob that hates this country finally gets it...we will not break. I've been through close to 20 flags now and the flag is always lit at night.
I'll NEVER FORGET! or forgive such a cowardly act.
