I just found this website during a search for a 57 Chevy forum. I found a '57 that I am going to purchase next week. I've always wanted a 57 or a 55 and I'm finally going to make it happen.

I'm from Louisiana and will be looking for folks that are located in and around the state of Louisiana so I can make some shows and meets. Does anyone know of some clubs in the southwest Louisiana area?

Will post some photos when I get it back home.

Welcome to tri5. It's to bad you couldn't find a 55, maybe you could remove the fins. Lots to find here, just take with a grain of salt what a lot of us older guys say about your choice of cars.

Thanks for the welcome aboard guys, looking forward to participating in discussions and uploading some photos as soon as I get it. Going to pick it up Friday in Tennessee, can't wait.

We had a 58 Bel Air when I was a kid, it was a four door, light blue over dark blue but my favorite has always been the 57 and the 55, hope to land one of those later too, that way I will have a pair.

Well as luck would have it, the car I was suppose to pick Friday is not going to happen. The guy I was purchasing from sold it to someone else without calling me back or nothing. So I will have to look for another one. Anyone where a red one with fuel injected engine for sale?
