I am putting new everything on the front end but came to the center link and pitman arm. I plan on sandblasting the center link and repainting it. How do I know if the pitman arm is needs replacing? It looks like everything is original.
thanks

Check to see if the ball is round, and that it is still firmly attached to the arm (doesn't rock). A worn ball will be egg shaped.

If you need help with this contact Jalapeno, he is a site member. He knows all about this stuff. I bought my 500 box from him. He also helped me with some other steering issues on my 57. He is a wealth of information
