Hello all

Just bought a 57 belair project car. Its been sitting disassembled since the mid 80s. I have a couple of Chevelles, a 70 L78 car ,a 67 rag top and a 68 Camaro so I am not new to redoing old cars, but this is my first 57. I am pretty hopped up about doing a 57.

Hello Rodney and welcome to the group. I think you will find the 57 a great project. I have had a 57 Nomad since 1978 and still enjoy it. You will find that club members have done just about anything you can imagine in the way of building 57's so there is always someone that has been there done that and is willing to share their knowledge. The battle cry in the group is always "send Pictures" so any before shots would be appreciated. You have an impressive stable of cars.

Yes I need to get pictures loaded on computer so I can include them. My wife took a bunch when we went to pick it up. She was born in 57 and has always told me I needed to build her a nice 57. It was Black new and we both agree on putting it back black, so we are getting off to a good start. I am looking forward to meeting new people, In the past we have always made new friends working on our old cars.

Thanks Rodney
