whats up trifive. I figured I'd better join a forum already since my dad has two 56 chevy's and a 56 pontiac wagon. I'm helping him restore the 56 chevy wagon (4 door 210.) His pontiac is a daily driver, original faded paint, v8 6pack motor. So why does he have all these cool cars and I dont own one?..............cause I'm a vw guy :-D but lets not go there! I gotta go weld his headlight bucket. I'll check in later

yeah, busguy71 is for my '71 bus. Bought it when I was 16. I got a 65 bug also. If I ever get around to building a full frame for it, theres a 472 cadillac motor waiting to go in :)

VW's have always had a place in my heart -- a friend of mine drove a VW bus in H.S. and it was nothing but fun fun fun! I've owned a few restored bugs in the past, and everytime I see one it turns my head for a second look. Owned an 81 Rabbit for three years, it was a POS but it got me where I needed to go!
