Can some of you pros tell me what "Number Matching" actualy means?

ALL of the parts on the car are correct for the production date and ALL parts that have a date code, have the correct date code, allowing for proper lead time before assembly. This includes everything from the water pump to the window glass.
I don't think "proper" lead time has ever been determined, though. :confused0006:
