I am about to put a 427 sbc in the '55 hardtop I am building. Does anybody know what kind of pan will clear a 4.000" stroke (Eagle H-beam rods) and the stock crossmember? The motor will be in the stock location. I know the pan has to have the stroker kick-outs, but I don't know what will clear the crossmember. If you have part numbers that would helpful.

Thanks

You might give Stef's a call, or Hamburger's. they can do notched oil pans.

here is a Moroso pan that is advertised to clear a 4" stroke.

Here is the pan I have on my 400sbc,,and this clears the crossmember and drag linkage. the front depth is the same as the drag pan,but it only clears a 3.80 stroke. weld in side engine mounts for my application.

Thanks Keith. I was looking at the Moroso 20196, but it said crossmember may need to be modified The one you posted looks like it would work better. I'll take your advice and do some calling and find out. Thanks again!
