A coworker dug this 55 Pontiac out of the weeds and brought it in to pressure wash it and to show it off to the boys.
The owner passed away a couple years ago and left the property to his kids and the kids are getting rid of his cool stuff. :( but I guess that's how it rolls.
anyways it had the scallops painted on in the early/mid 90's.
Its a V8 car and is completely intact everything is there, but there is considerable rust.

Nice find and gift to the kids. Friend of mine had one. I rode in one . They are cool, but, very heavy. Mike

Had one in the family.

In 1969 my step-dad let me drive his '55 Ponco 4 dr sedan quite a bit. It was a three on the tree, and the clutch pedal went down through the floor, instead of swinging, like a '55 Chevy. I always thought that was odd. Solid reliable car.

I bought one just like it when I was in college (1965). I have a picture of it, with me and my Dad in 1966, when I left it at home after enlisting in the Army. I signed it over to hiim, in case anything happened to me while I was gone. My step-brother totalled it before I got back.
