The season is rapidly coming to an end as the weather is beginning to change quickly. Friday night we drove homecoming princesses onto the field at Darrington (WA's) High School homecoming football game. Lot's of fun but the first freezing tempuratures of the year were beginning to take place that night. Formal eveningware is not the best choice for cold weather.

Did you know...today's teen age girls have no idea how old style roll down windows and door release levers work. This "old school" technology was long before their time.

Nice.

We're still having decent weather here. Today I took the 150 Wagon out for a few hours. Since I couldn't attend what was probably the last car show in the greater Dayton area.

I'm on vacation this week. Weather person claimes tue-fri is suppose to be nice out. So I'm going to host my own personal car show on one of these days. Right out in my own back yard.

Teen-age Queens & Homecoming

Read your thoughts about the teenage girls. I was a Reserve Policeman in my community, and we frequently clocked cars. We stopped lots of cars in the upper 80's & lower 90's. Guess what ?? Most of them were driven by 16-18 year old girls and they wouldn't have a clue how fast they were going.

Generally, the girls drove faster than boys of same age. (Course I drove that way also when I was their age!):goodnight:
