I want to paint my disc brake rotors to keep them from becoming a rusted mess. I want to paint the entire rotor except for the area swept by the pads. I have brake caliper paint from Eastwood that is good to 400 degrees. Can I use this paint on the rotors or should I use a high temperature paint ( 1200 degrees). Thanks.

Bcap55, I use that same Eastwood paint on my rotors as you've asked. No problems. I seriously doubt my brakes will ever reach beyond 400deg unless I do some circle tracking....Not.
