I used Flat Black Dupli Color rattle can paint for my 1980's hot water solar collector when refurbished last year.
I'm on total solar hot water hear near Philly from May to September. No fancy gizmo's, a pump, solar fluid, the collector and double piped hot water tank.
The solar paint sounds interesting.

If it ever comes to fruition a solar house paint would be cool

GAF has a solar shingle on the market that is flat to the roof and would be hard to tell from a regular shingles roof from what I can tell from their pictures. I just checked their site and they have some interesting calculators where you can pull up your own house/roof for more information.
