This is it! I am finally starting to work on my 56. I will be ordering an LS1 in the next month and then will start on the rear 4-bar suspension. The first thing I need is a set of body mounts so I can mount the body and find out where the engine is supposed to be. Is there more than one good place to get new parts for these cars? Thanks!

CD there are numerous places to buy parts from. Are you going to use the stock rubber type or the urethane ones? For most of my parts i`ve bought from wwwhhclassic.com but as i said there are many and we have sponsors that sell parts also.

The stock rubber work fine but do allow some body lean over the urethane ones. The urethane ones can also make it feel a little harsher, so i`m told, haven`t driven mine yet with the urethane ones installed. I bought the graphite impregnated urethane mounts myself, not supposed to squeak like the plain urethane mounts.
