A kind fellow from another forum has helped me solve my rear window clip problem. No one in the country had them and the stuff from Danchuck was junk. Tried 2 bags of clips and they both were bad metal.

I haven't been able to drive my car for almost 3 months because of these stupid little back window clips, but these guys are supposed to be sending me the right stuff, so I thought I'd pass it along.

try R.J.&L Automotive Fasteners RJ&L Obsolete Automotive Fasteners..

Got my car back today. The guy said the clips worked fine. So far... everything seems ok... which makes me scared. hehe.

Brandon, Do you have the part number for the clips?
I looked at the site & didnt see any rear window clips???
Way to go Vetteman61.....I hate it when I get sorry quality.......
I can't remember the part number, but I got the clips from these guys:

I was pleased with what I got. They also explained to me how other reproduction clips from previously made companies are actually molded after used clips and don't have all the appropriate bends.

I know DANCHUK (not JUNK) had some bad ones go out with some bad heat treating. They just started making these cause one of there suppliers changed there design. Anyway! If you have some that broke on you then you should tell them so they can swap them out for you. I think it's there pn# 247. I had some that came up too short and they swapped them out for me and then the next time I came in they asked if I had any of them break on me, cause one of their batches didn't get heat treated properly which caused the clip to break when installed.
