Looks similar to a tri-five but I don't believe that it is, all of them during that period tend to look a lot alike. Jalapeno will know.

The M/Cyl cover is the same as 55 only. The rest could be off a Caddy or other GM product. All GM Cars used the Bendix T-Vac in lots of different application. Chevy was the simpliest version.

Your right (of course) Bruce....Just looked at the one I took off the 55, it has the flat cap.
The caps can be swapped put, The big difference is the vac connection. The 55-57 is on the side off the booster. The one in the pics it is on the rear indicating an "under the floor" application. I don't think the 55-57 unit has a bleeder either. :flag6:
