Power Brake Question

just bought a nomad with no power brakes, but the previous owner did add discs up front. can i just add a booster to this? is there anything else that needs to be done to convert to power brakes?

yep
need to decide if u want a 7" or even a 8" booster. believe u might look at some of our sponsors and they should offer a booster for your disc front brake set up.
You'll probably have to change the master cylinder or get an adapter. There are manual and power M/C's. The manual M/C piston has a deep bore so the pedal rod doesn't fall out of the piston. ....http://www.classicperform.com/TechBook/BrakeTroubleshoot.htm#pushrod
I'm guessing you should consider a proportioning valve. Other members will know a lot more about this, but I think adding the booster will increase the need to control the back brakes from locking up prematurely.
