I just purchased a 600 delphi power steering box and I was reading reviews and it sounded pretty good. Then I started reading about the 670 or same as 500 1 pc and it sounded like maybe this one is better? Anyone have a opinion these different ones or know which is better?? This is for my 55 chev HT. Most people on here that have bought the 500 box are very happy. I know I am.:bowtier:

They are pretty much the same as far as the technology inside. The 500 casing is actually cast with the OEM bolt pattern, don't about the others.

Do most 600 buyers end up having steering and/or exhaust clearance issues?

The Borgeson 600 box and the CPP500 box are essentially the same as far as function and fit. The Borgeson box is derived from OEM components and has some fabrication on the housing. It also has a double D input shaft. The CPP box is custom made in China and is a copy of the OEM 600 box. The mounting bosses are part of the housing. It has a splined input shaft.
