Hi guys new to the site, looks great here.

have a question about power steering.

I am looking to change out the manual to power steering on my 57'

can anyone suggest a good kit to do this with?
and also,

how hard of a job is this, and how long should it take to do?
or,
if I get the kit, thinking about taking it in to a pro shop to do the job, how much should it cost for a pro to do it?
trying to get some ideas so I don't get ripped off too much.

Thanks guys
any help would be appreciated

Welcome to TriFive.

There are several choices for power steering out there, so a lot depends on what you aim to achieve with the car. Are you trying to stay all original, even down to matching numbers and date codes, or are you just looking to make the car easier to steer? Do you want a bolt-in kit, or are you ok with some fabrication/modifying?

Looking more for a bolt in kit, but if goes to a pro, I guess
They can handle some fab work.
Just don't know if this is something I can handle or not. If the
Pro price is reasonable, I may have them do it.
What kind of price can I expect from a job like this from a pro shop ?
