Have seen quite a few varieties of power steering boxes available. Building a car that I am going to drive, so want to go to power steering. What is a good bolt-in unit? I have a bare frame right now, and am stock-piling parts for winter re-assembly. Have done some reading on the different boxes, but want to hear first hand what you guys have experienced.
I would use the 500 series box, I have put it on both of my '56's and makes a world of difference.
You will have to shorten the steering shaft about 3 inches if you want to keep it or go to a IDIDIT or Flaming River column that is set up for the 500?
