POR vs Powder Coat

We Powder Coated all frame and suspension that wasn't chrome, but Yes, POR 15 is next best choice in my opinion. We used POR on to paint all inner floor panels and other components underneath, we didn't spray it, we didn't cut it as much and painted it on liberally in order acheive higher mills. And, I feel confident, everything we covered with POR will look exactly the same 20 years from now, but of course I won't be drivin' it down a sandy salt water beach either... :tu best of luck to you on your project. BDR :tu
Thanks I wasn't sure,nice ride by the way:congrats:
Mine are painted with POR-15. Pianted them about 5yrs ago and they still look good.

I did the driveway method of applying it with a foam brush on my control arms, springs, steering components and front clip area for both my Camaro and Chevelle and they came out great in my opinion. Spraying it would provide the best finish but that is beyond my capability.

If you spray it, make dang sure you cover anything you don't want permanently painted. That stuff doesn't come off (including your skin).
