I am looking for any information related to a radio delete block off plate, part number 3706868.

This is supposed to be the radio block off plate for a 1953 to 1956 Corvette. I suspect it may also have been used on passenger cars.

Anyone have any info on this part?

I see them from time to time on Ebay. You can put into the system, to notify you when one comes up for action.:anim_25:

The block off plates I have and have seen for the Tri-fives each have the dash insert design to match that of the particular model year . The 55 doesn't match the 56.

58-62 Non radio equipped Corvettes used no. 3744820 with nameplate no. 3711574

1957 Vette used the "Starburst" type plate from serial no. E57S101765.

I don't have any info on the earlier model years for Corvette. Contact Roy Brattz here on tri-five. He has a copper 55 Vette and has a wealth of info on these cars. I think he goes by "55copper"

Radio delete plates are expensive, put "Corvette" in front of it and fasten your seat belt!
