Good morning, all. Have been prepping my stripped-down frame for Labor Day weekend paint, and figured since rear end is stripped down, I would paint it at the same time. Figured I would remove vent...Broke it loose, but won't come out. Are they threaded or press fit? Thanks for your help.

Yes, it is the stock rear end. It seemed to break loose, but then just turned-would not back out. Tried turning it back in, and again would just spin. Didn't want to break anything, so waited til morning to ask the experts! Any other thoughts?

Ok, will get a little aggressive with it tonight. I just didn't want to screw anything up. Are replacements available, or can I just clean this one up? As long as I don't mutilate it getting it out, it appears to be in good shape and functionable.
