I'll be removing my rear glass for the 4th time now. This last time I felt like the clips really held my trim in place only to find it popped out on my way to Vegas couple weeks ago. I have now bought 6 bags of clips only to find my old ones I had bought years ago were the best of the bunch.
After all the work and fabrication I've done on this build I hate to loose it now over a few clips!

What Gives!

It might be your glass rubber...search for some threads about Danchuck rear glass rubbers. There is also some special pre-bending prep you have to do on the clips.

I already tosed out Danchuks fat rubber gasket and bought T&N gaskets from Ole 55 along with their clips. That being the 3 set of clips I looked at the sharp pointed area of the clip that actally biits the stainless and nootiiced the old set was much better so I re used them and was careful to clean them and pry out the sharp points to grip their best :confused0006::confused0006::confused0006:
