Guys need your in point here, I am changing the oil pan in my 57 that is running a 81 350, the old pan has what I have been told is a oil pan keeper, I am looking to replace it but can't find any sites that would carry this item. Any ideas on where I might be able to find one, thanks for the help here.

Keeper?

All that's there is the oil pan, gasket(s), and bolts. Get the proper one piece gasket and you can remove and replace it easily. Use a bit of silicone on the corners. Put the 4 corner bolts in first but don't tighten them until all are in place.

If you're doing this under the car, disconnect the steering linkage at the idler arm to get it out of the way.
