Looking for good ideas on products or methods to repel rodents (no moth balls please). With the cold temps moving in where I live it's time to battle those pesky rodents that are looking for a home and I do not want my 56 to become their favorite condo.

Thanks,
Jim

I have heard dryer sheets work well. My brother in law used them on his motorcycle when storing it, never had any mice. Not sure if it was the sheets or not

Put a warfarin base rat poison in the closed up car, that way pets can't get to it. The mice and rats will eat it and then go looking for water so they don't die in the car.

Just a bit of advice, Dryer sheets are extremely flammable  so be careful if you go that route.

I HATE THOSE MEESIES TO PIECES!!!

I use a combination of products to repel the little varmits... First make sure you aren't inviting them.... Remove any and all things edible... Flip sunvisors down to eliminate that nesting place... I use a combo of dryer sheets, Irish Spring soap and a new product that I believe is called Mouse Magic... MM is 4 teabag like thingies in a box that have a pleasant smell unlike Moth balls... I put some of each on the floor mats both front and rear and put more in the trunk... Happy hunting... Later, Dave

I use green antifreeze. Put a little in a saucer or dish and stick under the car or boat etc. They like the taste. The only thing is you'll have to clean up the bodies after a while. just make sure dogs and cats can't get to it.

We had a huge problem at our work shop with mice. I taled to our landlord and he came back with 3 plug in the wall outlet devices. That was last year and still have no mice. They work! Fact is I have been meaning to ask him where he bought them so I can have them in my shop for this winter.

My cat Chelsea has done a great mousing job for the past 21.5 years. (yes, in people years)

I'm NOT.... a cat person. But thanks to irresponsible people who love to drop off unwanted pets, we have two. Chelsea & Smeekers.

They say these things work. But so far the one in my bed room has not stopped whatever bites me every night.

I also do the Irish Spring soap, dryer sheets and numerous mouse traps. I put slices of Irish Spring on paper plates and place them under and inside both cars (include one under the hood). I will have to check the farm & feed stores around to find "Mouse Magic".
