HEY GUYS
I GOTTA QUICK QUESTION.WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS THAT
CHEVROLET USES FOR THE 153 TOOTH AND THE 168 TOOTH FLEXPLATES.
I`M PUTTING A 700R TO A 350 SBC.????????? WHICH ONE.

you need to know if it is a 1 piece or 2 piece rear main seal. either way you really want a 168 tooth flexplate and matching starter.

Does the torque converter have to match the flexplate as well John?

You can use either one. Pickups had 168 tooth flywheels. Most cars had the 153 tooth.

A different starter is required for each unless you have an aftermarket mini starter.
