Jim here's my thought , when I did my 1970 400 sb I used the stock heads . Installed just the O ring stock type seals , Thinking , using unleaded gas there is no lead to lube the valves . So just using the O rings would let a small amount of oil down the guides to lube the valve stems. After 1975 they used better guides and seats. Don
