I'm flying out on the 27th for the NHRA Vegas Nationals..i wish i could get the extra time off to stay for the SEMA show..really would like to do that one day

The Newman Car Creations crew will be their from thursday on. We will have our 57 wagon in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational car corral. We got the invite to compete in the OUSCI which will be taking place in Pahrump on Saturday. The event consist of a timed auto cross course, timed run around the road course, and a 0 to as fast as you can go and then stop in a box.

As far as i know we are the only tri-five that got invited. I will do my best to represent us (the tri-five community) and let people know that these big tri-fives can keep up with some much smaller and lighter sports cars.

We were scheduled to go but Shop work has increased and I need to be here.

I went in 2006 and 2007 and had a great time. I just got back from a trip to Vegas last weekend. One problem I have with the SEMA date is that it's the best week for bowhunting whitetail deer in Kansas where I go every year, so I have to choose.
