Hi Folks
Is there a particular gauge and type of steel you are using on your resto and why?
Are you have the results you were looking for?

Are you keeping your warpage to a minimum? If not why ? and how do you correct it.

If these are some of the questions you have please ask it realy will save you time and extra work and really increase the quality of your repair . :)

Hi Ken
Those are great choices . 18 gauge is close to outer body panels most outer tin are 19 gauge . 20 gauge is a little lite after welding and tends to warp easy but can be straighten . We use 16 gauge for floor pans and lite structual floor and inner panels .

Even 18 gauge with particular bends or beadings for stiffining is fine in the right area's :)
