Hi Folks,

I'm looking at getting some major work done and would like to have some opinions of what it would take in hours for a competent shop to perform the work.. I wish I had the room, not to mention know-how, to tackle things myself, but I don't.

What I have is a 57 truck with a stock 235, & stock suspension.

In your opinion, how many hours shop time to add IFS (ie:camaro front clip), add PS & PB, and swap out the engine and tranny, replace the column, and lower the rear somehow. (notch?).

My fear is that it may not be worth getting the work done when there's trucks for sale on the interweb with most, if not all, of this already done...

Anyway..thanks for any thoughts you may have..

PW can`t say how many hours it will take but i`m sure it will take quite a few hrs. to accomplish all of that. Even experienced guys have to take the time to measure and remeasure before any cutting and welding.
