I have a Sag 441 in my '55 Delray, but as long as I've had the car, haven't had a speedo. The shifter in the car has been jury rigged to sit faoward so that it will clear the bench seat. The result is that the speedo is blocked.

I just bought a new Hurst Comp+ with the special Tri5 handle and the kit for the Sag 441. So I'll be looking to get the speedo functioning again.

I have 225/70R15 tires (26" dia) & 3.55 gear ratio.

Does anyone know the prat number of the correct speedo gear? The diameter and tooth count of the drive gear inside the tranny would help, too.

Go to Chevy dealer and tell them you own a 75 corvette with a Sadginaw 4 speed, 3.55 rear axle and GR-70-15 tires. If your parts man is good he can help you. I have the GM parts books they have charts with this info you can get the numbers.
