Not sure this is the right place for this question but here goes,Finnished my th350 tran on my 55 had to change the drive driven gears for the speedo to be reading correct but it is still off. My needle on the speedometer is way past the zero mark on it to the left, should it be resting at the zero when sitting still and if so how would that be done. Just thinking this may be my problem ?

Yes it should be resting at zero....Will have to take the speedo apart....Take the needle off and adjust where it starts....Sounds easy enough.....However, to the best of my knowledge, they do not reproduce 55/56 speedo needles--just '57....And they are delicate.

Thanks for the advice, i may try to adjust it as you say or change the driven gear to allow for it. Don't want to break it!
