I have 2 spots on my hood that I need to repair, each one is very small. Anyway to fix without repainting the entire hood? Just finished painting it the other day. Basecoat/Clear.

Thanks, Buddy

I don't think you`ll be able it achieve it without painting the hood again, especially if you do not want the spots to stand out.

Do a google search on blending paint, I'll bet you can turn up some forum talk and maybe some youtube videos.

What color is your hood and is it a metallic color?

By spot repair, are we talking bodywork or paint blemish. If it's a blemish in paint, it can be fixed. Scuff (wet sand whole hood) and dust in blemish area with paint, and clearcoat. You'll never see the difference.

If you you do spot it in, please post a pic. I would like to see your result before you paint the entire hood. :anim_25:
