i have a 55 bel air convert with the power pack all stock 4 brl. auto. i had the car twice after driving for a while the car started to buck slightly and i had to rev the throttle to keep it going then it died. i pulled over it started right up again and was fine. anyone think this is a carb problem? it was two seperate tanks of gas. also i took the stock air cleaner off and looked around and it was clean. it runs great except that. any ideas? i changed the filter and it looked good. let me know what you guys would do. thanks all

Sounds like something in the carb. Pull the top and look around in there and check the float level too. Change the fuel filter. Then do a full rebuild if that doesn't do it. Check all the electrical parts for loose connections too.
